Behind The Scenes
AeroNet is led by Jonathan Turner, an FAA-certified Part 107 Remote Pilot and Private Pilot with more than three decades of aviation experience. His aviation career began in the United States Air Force as a C-130E engine mechanic, including a Middle East deployment during Desert Shield/Storm, where he developed the discipline, precision, and mission-focused mindset that continue to guide his work today.
Jonathan’s background includes over twenty years of involvement in aviation safety oversight, accident and incident investigations, operational evaluations, and aircraft certification activities across corporate, military, and general aviation sectors. His experience also includes reviewing advanced UAS operations such as aerial package delivery under Part 107, beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) concepts, and other emerging technologies shaping the future of unmanned aviation.
Jonathan also holds an Airframe & Powerplant certificate with Inspection Authorization (IA), bringing hands-on technical expertise to every mission. This combination of operational knowledge, investigative experience, regulatory insight, and maintenance skill allows AeroNet to deliver aerial photography and survey services with exceptional reliability, accuracy, and professionalism.

Heather Turner brings more than 15 years of aviation experience to her role as Chief Operating Officer at AeroNet. She began her career in aircraft dispatch and customer service with several major airlines, where she developed a strong foundation in communication, coordination, and passenger support.
Today, Heather oversees AeroNet’s daily operations, client relationships, and project scheduling. Her airline background gives her a unique ability to keep missions organized, communicate clearly, and ensure every client receives exceptional service.
Heather’s dedication, professionalism, and friendly approach help make AeroNet a trusted family‑owned aviation business.
Emma Turner is AeroNet’s UAS Operations Specialist, bringing fresh energy and enthusiasm to the team. At 19, she is new to aviation but has quickly developed a passion for aircraft, drones, and the operational side of flight. She supports mission preparation, equipment handling, and ground coordination, helping ensure each project runs smoothly and safely.
Emma’s strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and natural attention to detail make her a valuable part of AeroNet’s growing aviation family. Outside of flying, Emma is an avid animal lover and enjoys spending time with pets, which brings a warm, friendly presence to the team.
Matthew Turner serves as AeroNet’s UAS Apprentice Operator, contributing natural skill and steady focus to every mission. At 18 and currently a high‑school senior, Matthew is developing his aviation abilities through hands‑on experience in drone operations, field coordination, and mission preparation.
He supports equipment setup, ground operations, and flight‑support tasks, learning the technical and safety disciplines required for professional UAS work. Matthew’s ability to absorb new skills quickly and perform reliably in the field makes him an important part of AeroNet’s next generation of aviation talent.
His dedication, curiosity, and calm presence strengthen AeroNet’s family‑run team as he continues progressing toward becoming a fully qualified UAS operator.
